About Mimic a Stranger
Formed in the Spring of ‘09, they quickly grew a large online following, and were seen sharing with stage with artists Stephen Jerzak, Romance On A Rocketship and Breathe Electric during the Summer. Their first single “Better Off Tonight” hit iTunes on July 6th 2009. The band is made up of Izzi, who shares vocals, and synth duties, Lee who sings, plays synths and programming, and JP who plays drums. The Genre is a Electro/Alternative. In October they released ‘We’re Goin Out” which showed a significant change in sound from their previous efforts. In November they released the simply titled ‘The Summer E.P”; which featured their first 4 major recordings “Better Off Tonight”, “Remember When”, “Three Long Years”, and the fan fav Mayday Parade cover “Jamie All Over”. In April they released The Crush EP which featured "Ended This Way" with T. Mills and Dot Dot Curve, "Remember When Remix" which featured Kill Paradise, and the "Airport In The Sky Remix" which featured The Summer Coming. They are currently recording their first full length album.
