Miles' Fun Facts: -19 years old -5'11" < You probably don't care about that one, but just in case -First album, "The Scenic Route," was completely self-written, recorded, and produced - it was released in April 2007 -He has opened for Lifehouse and Keller Williams -He has performed at venues across Southern Wisconsin like the Rave, Overture Center, Orpheum, Union Theater, as well as many many coffeehouses. -Former member of three bands - Union Jack, Soupachil, and Mellow Apparition, as well as many small projects -Miles is a Music Education major at UW-Madison -Miles plays many instruments, mostly making sound with strings that vibrate and resonate wood: acoustic and electric guitars, violin, mandolin, bass, piano, tenor banjo, banjo-mandolin, melodica, a little bit of drums, and miscellaneous other percussion -Oh, and he sings too Miles as a Toddler Playing Piano -His start with music was with violin at age 4 -He started writing songs at age 14 -He started singing classical solo repetoire at age 15, and currently studies classical voice with Prof. Julia Faulkner at UW -He hopes to teach elementary school music classes to share his love for music -Thanks go out to all of the musicians that have influenced him throughout his life, especially his fellow musicians in Union Jack and the Madhatters -He would who he is today without the encouragement of his family and teachers, so they deserve much gratitude-Last but not least, -Thank YOU for interest in Miles' music.
