People, Places & Things is one of the projects of Chicago jazz drummer Mike Reed, in which he revisits the music of the city's prolific post bop to free jazz scene of the late 50s and early 60s, leading up to the formation of the AACM. Bandmembers include Jeb Bishop on trombone and Jason Roebke on bass. As of 2010, the band has released the albums Proliferation, About Us, and Stories and Negotiations.
