Michele plays HAMMOND ORGAN, AC. PIANO, WURLITZER, F. RHODES, CLAVINET, MOOG, BASS SYNTH, ACCORDEON, LIVE ELETRONICS, TALK BOX, LOOP MACHINES, PERC,DJ SET,COMPOSER,PRODUCER. After studiyng classical music he started specializing in afro-american music (Jazz, Blues, Gospel, Funk) and contemporary music. In '95 he wins scolarship to partecipate at the â"High Professional Qualification Jazz Course" for jazz musicians financed by the CEE at Siena jazz and then at the "Berklee School" in Boston. He followed seminars with K.Barron, Shirley Scott, P.Metheny, D.Liebman, Ray Brown. He has been inspired by many musicians, particulary the pianists Monk, Gene Harris, George Duke, Joe Sample, Bill Evans, Henry Butler and Dr.John from New Orleans, Billy Preston, and organists such as Jimmy Smith, Larry Young, John Medeski, Larry Golding, the artists James Brown, Sly & The Family Stone and many others black music artists. His stile indeed, even though really jazz-oriented, has a strong funk, nu jazz, gospel, new orleans style, contemporary Soul, blues and hip hop influence. He has been working (live and in recording studios) with: Gianluca Petrella, Tiziana Ghiglioni, Roberto Gatto, Massimo Manzi, Rosario Giuliani, Dario Deidda, Gigi Cifarelli, Dave Liebman, AresTavolazzi, Ed Neumeister, Bruce Cox, JD Allen, Piero Odorici, Marco Tamburrini, Matthias Shubert, Tristan Hosinger, Jovanotti, Riccardo Onori, Gabriella Ferri, Bobo Rondelli, Davide Van De Sfross, Articolo 31, Patti Austin, Koko Taylor, Keb Mo', Trudy Lyin, Rudy Rotta, Robben Ford, Sugar Blue, Otis Grand, Brian Auger, Peter Green, Marva Wright, Robin Brown, Marvin Warren, Ana Popovic, Kenny Neal, Los Angeles Episcopal Choir, which he played in may '99 in S. Pietro, Rome, Harlem Gospel Choir, Kent State Gospel Choir. He partecipated to the major jazz and blues European and USA Festivals and at many recordings as sideman. Between '94 and '98 he is been the pianist and arranger for GABRIELLA FERRI, with whom he played in the major italian theatres, as well as in Switzerland, Poland, Germany, Greece and South America. In the Spring of '97 he went to Nashville, where he studied the piano in the "traditional and contemporary gospel" music in depth, expecially the accompaniment of afro-american singers. He played in their europeanne tours various american gospel choirs and blues and gospel artists. In may 2000 he's selected by the Empire Enterteinement Inc. of N.Y.City to play with PATTI AUSTIN, W. HOUSTON and JESSY JACKSON in their italian performances for the WARNER BROS. Between 2000 and 2005 he collaborates with RUDY ROTTA with wom he plays in many tours in Europe and England and records in studio with BRIAN AUGER, ROBBEN FORD, PETER GREEN, JOHN MAYALL. In sept 2005 he recording in the JOVANOTTI cd "Buon Sangue". Between 2005 and 2006 he plays the hammond organ in the quartet of the best italian jazz drummer ROBERTO GATTO. In 2006 he has been working in theatre with ADONIS (Nobel prix for the Litterature 2006), Peter Semolic, Josip Osti, with the acoustic prepared piano and live electronics. He's now playing in AFROCENTRADELIC BAND like leader, with Petrella, Bearzatti and Fabio Accardi, the Bread & Tomato trio of GIANLUCA PETRELLA(italian jazz trombonist Rising Star 2006 and 2007 in Down Beat Referendum), with whom he records for the BLUE NOTE Records, in the FABIO MORGERA Trio (Groove Collective), with the american drummer BRUCE COX (Fred Wesley band) and guest sax player JD ALLEN, with ANA POPOVIC band, with DAVIDE VAN DE SFROSS band and in other groups as the leader, in EUROPE, USA, CANADA, SOUTH AMERICA and ASIA.
