The Band Michael Vincent Lead, Slide Guitar / Vocals Born on May 19th 1991 in Boston, Massachusetts. Michael quickly began to discover Blues and Soul music as a child. While stlll in grammar school, he formed a trio called Doubleshot with two of his classmates. The band performed frequent local gigs and house parties, quickly becoming a local favorite. They grew up playing all the classic blues songs and people loved the fact that young guns were playing the blues. Now traveling the country as a full-time musician in the Michael Vincent Band, he employs a reminiscent blues guitar style that is his own, and an inspiring voice. His influences include Eric Clapton, Jerry Reed, Jimi Hendrix, Chet Atkins, Freddie King, and Stevie Ray Vaughan among many others. Danny Mack Bass Guitar / Vocals Born on June 17th 1991 in Laconia, New Hampshire. In his earliest years in Elementary School, he began playing Saxophone. He became a regular member in the school's Jazz band playing Baritone Saxophone. He loved the deep rich sound of the Baritone and it was here he found his way to the Electric Bass. Danny began developing his traditional thumping style in this period listening to the original Memphis Soul sound of Booker T. and the MG's. He has also become one of the main songwriters for the band with Vincent. His main influences include Jack Bruce, Donald "Duck" Dunn, James Jamerson, Berry Oakely, Andy Fraser, John Paul Jones, John Entwistle, Glenn Cornick, and Billy Cox. Dan Hewitt Drums / Percussion Born on November 6th, 1990 in Concord, Massachusetts. Dan Hewitt started playing drums in the summer of 2006. He moved to New Hampshire as a young child and met Michael Vincent in grammar school and soon Michael asked him to join the trio, Doubleshot. He has always been a huge fan of the vintage jazz records, and has honed his craft around the quick hands and steady rhythms of the early big band sound. Now an experienced percussionist, he carries the rhythm section of the MVB. His main influences include Gene Krupa, Mitch Mitchell, John Bonham, Ginger Baker, Jo Jones, Buddy Rich, Louie Bellson, and Steve Gadd. Official Website: Michael Vincent Band
