About Meret Becker & Ars Vitalis
Meret Becker, a Berlin actress and singer, and Ars Vitalis (a theatrical group) have known each other from more than a dozen years. Since then hardly a year has gone by without their coming together in one of their unique productions. Their early appearances in Berlin's "Bar jeder Vernunft" night club have become legendary. Since then they have appeared on stage, radio and television. Perhaps their most unusual appearance occurred when the were invited to appear with their Japanese friend Issey Ogata in Tokyo on a live TV broadcast on New Year's Eve, 2003. In 2006 they took their show "Harmonie Desastres" on tour, and they are planning additional international tours.
