About Menesis
Menesis is a young metalcore act from Papendrecht, South-Holland. Their music is characterised by melodic and rhythmical metalcore, based on a foundation of energy. The five members have the enthusiasm to charm any audience, be it live or on recording. Menesis started in 2004 as a cover band. After the original 4 members got accustomed to each other, they started writing their own songs. The first result of this effort was the demo The Eye of the Storm in 2005, followed up by a number of gigs. By attracting lead vocalist JW in 2006, Menesis got just the front man that it needed. His combination of screams, grunts and energetic podium performance gave the band its own face and identity. The result of this chemistry is effectively captured on the demo Your Blood is Shed, which was releases at the end of 2007. Menesis is currently busy with performing, writing new songs and rehearsing. The result of this effort is a spectacular show and sound that will certainly blow you away.
