About Memphis in June

The name "Memphis In June" comes from a Bob Dylan song - "Someone´s Got A Hold Of My Heart". "Memphis In June" was a melodic/hardcore/rock band and was formed from two existing bands on December of 2004. At the beginning they thought that they would resume playing under the name "Tears For The King" but since they were a whole new band they took a new name - "The Burning". That was for a very short time because most people disliked that name. Then came "Memphis In June" and it was settled. Their one and only album, "A Cry, A Prayer, A Song", was released on October 1st 2005. Memphis In June: Ben South - Vocals Dustin Phillips - Guitar/Vocals Matt Manyak - Bass *position open* - Drums Old members: Stephen O'Sicky - Drums Matthew Reeves - Guitar/Vocals Joe Cipriano - Vocals Brett Palmer - Guitar
