About Memories & Jersey
Memories & Jersey is Steven Doninger. Since he started Memories & Jersey in the winter of 2007. He has continued to make a name for himself in his short existence as an artist. With an ear pleasing blend of Acoustic, Pop-Punk, and tasteful hints of pop, Memories & Jersey has managed to create something raw, real, and mature. Some of his songs are based on various media outlets such as Anime, Video Games, Movies and T.V. Shows but he never writes a song based on the outlet alone, he always has a personal reason to write what he does and put 100% of his life into his music. The project was started by Doninger to combat his depression and bouts of anxiety attacks. He meant for it to be an outlet of emotion and a documentation of his life. After a while he started to gain a small yet humble and dedicated fanbase for himself. Connecting with his "heart of sleeve" outlook on life Doninger has gained the trust and respect of his fans even enough for them to contact him with their life issues for help, which is encouraged by Doninger. His first release was "A Demonstration From Within The Heart EP" a collection of some of the first songs he ever wrote on his own. Then came the Music Saves Lives EP which features his most popular song "Kingdom Hearts". Memories & Jersey has continued to grow and mature as an artist with each EP release. Though he has never played a live show under the name of Memories & Jersey he feels he connects more in more with his audience upon each of his EP releases. Doninger writes, records and produces ever second of every minute of every song. He releases his music through his own label Ikari Records and Island Def Jam Digital Distribution. Doninger has stated that Memories & Jersey "Will always be around as it is a part of him." and that he "Will always need an emotional outlet." he also stated that even if he ever found another outlet that he will always be writing for his fans if not himself. Music is his life he will never give it up, even if no one is listening. Music Saves Lives.
