About Melissa Reese

Melissa Reese is a musical prodigy. She began singing and playing piano classically at the age of four. By 14, she was writing her own songs, then at 18 taught herself Pro Tools, Reason and Logic to produce, arrange, engineer, and mix her own recordings. Things have progressed wildly in the young artist's career. Already television has been captivated by the cinematic quality of Melissa's music. “Ooh La La,” “Pretty Please” and “Old Skool,” three of the tracks from LISSA, her first media EP done collaboratively with her partners Bryan "Brain" Mantia and Pete Scaturro, have been placed in several network cable series' – ABC’s “Cashmere Mafia,” The CW’s “Gossip Girl”, "Privileged" , and FX’s “Dirt” to name a few. Since recording the album, Melissa has gone on to other projects, further exploring her varied interests, and testing her skills as an artist/songwriter/producer. She has recorded tracks and several commericals with legendary funk artist Bootsy Collins, (most currently the Tiger Woods campaign for Gatorade), performed backing vocals for rapper Chuck D and pop singer Vanessa Carlton, co-wrote songs for neo-soul artist Goapele and Universal artist Allan Kuo from China. In addition to many other projects of this nature, Melissa has also written music and performed vocals for gaming giants EA Games, Xbox, and composed for an instructional children’s DVD entitled “Art House" with Scaturro. Melissa is currently co-producing and writing songs with Grammy award winning producer Drumma Boy both for her new upcoming album, and for other artists like Toni Braxton. She joined Guns N' Roses in 2016 as the band's second keyboardist. Melissa Reese Official Site
