About Media Jiwa
Media Jiwa is an alternative rock band from Jakarta, Indonesia. The band consists of Aden on lead vocals, keyboard and guitar, Rizka on backing vocals and bass guitar, Ihsan on drums and percussion, and Ivan on Guitar and backing vocals. Their sound is a blend of alternative rock, classical music, jazz, blues, and progressive rock. Their music has been inspired by the works of Romantic jazz-composers and has thus resulted in a fusion of jazz style with modern rock. Since their formation in mid 2009, they've changed band names (such as Sigismundi, Sigismund) and personnel a number of times before adopting the name Media Jiwa with this current formation.
