In Conversation With MAYBE IF YOU HIT IT: BARTON HILL: "We're MAYBE IF YOU HIT IT! Yeah, people always ask us how we came up with the name, or what it means. To be honest, the name chose us... it randomly drunk dialed us one night and asked us to party, and naturally we were game." SCOTT LAWSON: "We all met a few years back while playing in different bands in the music scene. That was essentially the beginning of the band, because we all hung out a lot on and off stage. We are just a band of lone wolves who formed a wolf-pack to do what we love... partying, playing rock and roll music, and taking names. MAYBE IF YOU HIT IT is not just a band... it's a lifestyle choice." THE GARRETT SHOW: "I couldn't imagine being in a better band with better people. We are all best friends with the same vision. You would think that waking up in the morning, tripping over piles of naked women all over your floor and playing music with your best friends would get tiresome. Honestly, it hasn't yet." SCOTT LAWSON: "For the most part, our music is Classic Rock inspired guitar riffs, driving 80's bump bass, heavy-hitting Rock drums, with catchy and melodic vocals. We love bands like Motley Crue, AC/DC, and Buckcherry." BARTON HILL: "I try to write lyrics that are relatable. They are about our real-life experiences. We aren't trying to confuse anybody. Music is about expressing yourself and hoping others will enjoy it as much as you do. My theory is if you're honest and you have fun doing it, then you can't go wrong." SCOTT LAWSON: "We feel that entertainment is an escape, so that means if you come to our show and don't have a BADASS time... then we didn't do our job. Our live show is everything your mother warned you about... and more!" THE GARRETT SHOW: "Yes, there will be strangers there with candy and hidden agendas." BARTON HILL: "Love us, or hate us... we are MAYBE IF YOU HIT IT!"
