A collaboration single by dance punk duo Matt & Kim, rapper Soulja Boy, and rock artist Andrew W.K. for Converses original mp3 project. They followed in the footsteps of Pharell, Santigold, and Julian Casablancas (The Strokes) in 2008 with "My Drive Thru," and later Bethany Cosentino (Best Coast), Kid Cudi, and Rostam Batmanglij (Vampire Weekend) with "All Summer" in 2010. Converse released it as a free download on August 16, 2011 stating, "Looking for your party anthem to end the summer off on a high note? Look no further. “I’m a Goner” will make you sing, dance, and party because life is too short to wait any longer."
