Mark Wirtz worked at the fabled Abbey Road studios in the 1960's and produced some shmaltzy orchestral pop occasionally released under the name "Mark Wirtz, His Orchestra & Chorus". Wirtz, an Alsatian composer born (born 3 September 1943 in Strasbourg) also was a UK & Hollywood based record producer, as well as occasional singer, studio musician, author, and lately, a stand-up comedian based in Florida.
