About Mark Burgess & the Sons of God

After the breakup of both the Chameleons and the post-Chameleons project The Sun and the Moon, singer Mark Burgess teamed up with singer-songwriter Bryan Glancy and a small group of other musicians to create Mark Burgess and the Sons of God. The group recorded two live albums (primarily of old Chameleons tracks) and one ‘studio’ album - ‘Zima Junction’ - consisting of acoustic demos for an album which was never actually made. The style is more acoustic and folky than the Chameleons, although some tracks, such as an adaptation of a piece by Philip Glass, show a certain experimental edge. .
