About Mario Diaz de Leon

Mario Diaz de León is a composer and guitarist from New York, USA. His influences include modern composition, underground metal, and a wide range of electronic music. His debut CD as a composer was performed by the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), and released in 2009 on John Zorn's Tzadik label. He currently records and performs as ONEIROGEN, a project characterized by its merging of ethereal synths, brutal distortion, noise, and modern composition influences. The project was initiated in 2012 with the release of "Hypnos" (Shinkoyo, Denovali). In 2013, de León released the second album under the ONEIROGEN moniker, "Kiasma," released by Denovali Records. official site
