About Marie Serneholt

Marie Eleonor Serneholt (born July 11, 1983) was the oldest member of the Swedish pop band A*Teens. Marie was born in Stockholm, Sweden and grew up in an upper-class milieu. Marie Serneholt was a member of the Swedish pop group A*Teens (1999-2004) before starting a solo career in 2006. Her first single (That's The Way My Heart Goes) hit #2 in Sweden. And an album released followed which became a top 10 hit peaking at #9. Since then, two singles have been released from "Enjoy The Ride", "I Need A House" and in October 2006 "Oxygen". In March 2007 Marie stated in her MarieSerneholt.COM diary section that she is working on a new album.
