Mar’n’B was formed around November 2006. by Marija Mirkovic (Vocal) and Zoran Antonijevic (Guitar) gathered by the same idea of making a good young pop band. The duo decided to gather the finest young musicians from their town, so Dejan Kijanovic (Drums), Srdjan Stevic (Bass) and Nikola Beronja (Keyboards) where their first choice. Since they were (and still are) friends, and all of them had been working together and knew each other very well, all that was needed was a couple of phone calls.. The Band was created.. Immediately they started rehearsing, and the first show followed up very quickly. Along with the club gigs, band started working on their own songs, and the result came with Music Festival Budva (Montenegro) accepting their song “Kada Nema Te” into semifinal round of competition in June 2006. The song became an instant favorite of accredited media and audience on the festival. After the Budva festival, Mar’n’B appeared at Festival Stari Grad in Novi Pazar (Serbia) in July 2006. with their new song “Nije Mi 1. Put” and won two prizes. One for BEST LYRICS which went to band member Marija Mirkovic, and one for BEST STYLING regarding band’s stage appearance. The band is currently working on their first album, and preparing for the appearance on Balkan Youth Festival (Bulgaria) in September 2007.
