About ManicM
ManicM (1982) is a Do-It-Yourself indie electronic artist from the Netherlands. His first official album, 'SlowMotionAdversity', was a collection of personal favourites from earlier, unofficial releases. It was released in 2003 through U-Lit Records. In Spring 2008, ManicM released the surprising follow-up, 'The Wrong Side of the Fence', a more accessible album that has gained several great reviews. Unlike 'SloMoAd', which featured mainly instrumental noise/ambient/industrial tracks, the new album contains songs that are more guitar influenced and have more lyrics. When ManicM is not making music, he is busy writing novels and short stories under his own name. So far he has published one novel and one collection of stories. After releasing 'The Wrong Side of the Fence,' ManicM will most likely stop making music so he can fully devote himself to the written word.
