An Australian band hailing from Canberra, made headwaves with their track "Transformers". The track, although pleasing to producers Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay, was not picked up as the theme song for the new movie. Apparently Warner Music had picked up the contract for the movie. Highly liked by fans, dubbing of versions of the trailer to include the song is widespread on youtube.
