There are atleast eight groups/bands with the name M.A.D. 1) Early 80s Santa Cruz hardcore band that would soon change their name to Bl'ast! 2) Canadian Thrash Metal Band. 3) Anarchist Punk band from long island, NY. 4) Finnish UG electro-synth-rock group that was active during the years 1998-2001. 5) Musical Academy Dancing, a Johnny's Jr. group that mainly concentrates on dancing. 6) Spanish industrial/darkwave project that was a part of legendary Tonspur Tapes movement. 7) Portuguese Punk band formed in the early '90's in Portela de Sacavem,amongst it's members was Crise Total's original singer(Manolo) and also a later one(Mad Miguel). 8) Death/Thrash Metal Band from Germany, founded 1986 in G.D.R., Reunion in 2015
