About LynnStarr
LynnStarr is an alternative musician based in Los Angeles, CA. Her music and visuals are often inspired by director David Lynch, particularly his TV series Twin Peaks, and experiment with a variety of genres, including Folk, Ambient, Gothic Rock, and Dream Pop. She released her debut EP, Happy Songs for Sad People/ Sad Songs for Happy People on September 2, 2021, featuring a hazy atmosphere and soft, whispery vocals. In 2023, she released her full-length debut, The Faceless Lady, which contained a much darker sound and lyrics, and production from Max Dickenson of the band Two Brothers. On August 28, 2024, she followed up with sophomore album The Null, released the day Lynch's film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me was originally published in 1992. LynnStarr is married to bassist and guitarist James Nardiello of Petty Human Emotions and Caesar's Ghost. She has also done multiple photoshoots with experimental photographer Parker Day, and had the music video for her song "Lavender Lemonade Cult" directed by her.
