About Luke Legs
From Melbourne, Luke Legs is a folk-country singer, guitarist, songwriter, harmonicist and entertainer. Without a demo to his name Luke Legs has performed over 200 shows over the last 3 years at some of the best festivals (Falls, Ridgy Didge), and with some of the Australia's best artists (Clare Bowditch, Dan Sultan, The Audreys). His solo shows are a riot of storytelling, harmonica wailing' bluegrass picking' good times. His shows with his band 'The Midnight Specials', are even more lively with 'Carter Family' style harmonies, fiddle, drums, and mandolin. Luke Legs's debut album, which has taken him years to record and 'get the feeling right', is according to some critics, nothing short of exceptional. The album titled 'Why Oh Why? (My Caroline) was recorded by Davin Pidato who has worked with Augie March, The Killers, and Neil Young. The album was released independently in November 2010.
