Lovely Hoffman is an American R&B singer. In 2007, her debut single "Can't Wait" charted #10 on Rap Attacks, the urban college radio charts. It remained on the charts for a total of 5 weeks and at the time, "Can't Wait" was the only R&B song on the chart among all hip hop releases. Lovely was born in Boston, MA., and raised in Roxbury's Orchard Park neighborhood. The same neighborhood that bred super group New Edition and Bobby Brown. In recent times, Lovely has become more known and respected for her humanitarian efforts. In 2008, Lovely took six deserving students to Senegal, West Africa to culturally explore their ancestry. In 2009, Lovely returned to Africa taking three students to Kampala, Uganda - the eastern region of the continent.
