About Lou & Hollywood Bananas

Lou & The Hollywood Banana's was a Belgian Band build around leadsinger Lou Deprijck (also the leading vocalist in Two Man Sound). "Lady-killer" Lou was assisted by two (or more?) nice girls, the bananas - most of the time Helena Lemkovitch and Haïdy. Lyrics where mostly in French. Their biggest hit was 'Kingston Kingston'. They also made some covers of ska-music long before the ska-revival (as there is "I won't let you go" from Byron lee & the Dragonaires). Lou(is) De Prijck was also a producer with a nose for the popular musical trends of that time. He produced for Viktor Lazlo and Plastic Bertrand. Some rumours say he even sang a part of the song "Ça plane pour moi" (It's official now: he's the only interpreter of this song) For the moment he lives in Pattaya, Thailand.
