About Los Huracanes

One of the great spanish 60´s groups that didn´t reach the success they should. In spite of the easy-selling pop recordings of the time, they chose a more worked way, covering groups like Yardbirds in their beginings or with own songs like "El Calcetín" (The shock), a really energic and hipnotic track but with really funny lyrics at the same time, considered as one of the spanish garage high points. José (Pepe) Casquel (February 28, 1942 - February 6, 2019) (Valencia) on rhythm and bass guitar, Julio José Andréu (September 23, 1942) (Valencia) on drums, Pascual Olivos (7-august-1946) (Valencia) on solo guitar, José Segura Suárez , nicknamed Malay on bass and Víctor Ortiz (24-May-1942) (La Coruña) vocals and main leader, songwriter.
