About Lorenzo y La Nota Falsa

The Lorenzo y La Nota Falsa were formed in the early 90's in the southern brazilian city of Porto Alegre. Strongly influenced by Lupicinio Rodrigues, Tom Waits, beat poetry, tango and bossanova, the band came from the bohemian barrio Bom Fim marked by alive music played in dirty clubs late nights. They were independent and released only this demo CD originally launched in Cassete. Leaded by Mauro Dahmer, vocals and guitar, the band had different formations with Breno Ketzer (keyboard), Davi (drums), Fabricio (bass), Mauricio Sanches (saxophone), Cecile D'acosta (vocals), Vasco Paiva (sax), Frank Jorge (keyboards), Alexandre (drums). www.comum.com/punkjazz/lorenzo.html
