About Loren Auerbach & Bert Jansch
In 1985, two limited edition albums appeared under the name of Loren Auerbach, After A long Night and Playing the Game. Both also featured Bert Jansch - initially as a guest guitarist and subsequently as a writer, arranger and co-vocalist. Both were issued on vinyl in runs of 1000 copies on Loren's own label. After that., Loren went off to university and they kept in touch. In 1997, Loren visited Jansch on the Isle of Arran where he was working on Toy Balloon, and two years later they were married. Subsequently, Loren occasionally appears as vocalist on Jansch albums and has appeared on stage with him in the early 2000s.
