About Loop Division

Born on January 20th, 1958 on Long Island, NY, Larry graduated from SUNY Buffalo in 1980 and has lived most of his adult life in Japan since then, where he divides his time between creating music, writing, photography and his consulting business. Larry has published more than eight books (he considers himself a serious fiction writer), and is a cousin of the actor Kevin James (King of Queens, Hitch, Mall Cop). His interest in music is not limited by category, but he finds himself listening mainly to Classical music, RnB, World, and many kinds of Jazz. As Loop Division, he has produced a number of dance tracks, as well as Chill Out and [tagDowntempo[/tag] tunes, and has also forayed into World and Neo Classical pieces. Much of his music has a cinematic flavoring to it. APPLE A DAY is his first album. The title is a take off on the old adage, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." So, Larry hopes, will listening to his music! "I’m a very happy person-eternally optimistic-and my music, writing and photos reflect that. Life is a celebration of the senses, and I have been lucky enough to incorporate many of them in into my art."
