About London Phogg

London Phogg. Members included Georgiann Rock (lead vocals), Bob Lilley (lead guitar), Michael Friedman (rhythm guitar), Mark Leonard (bass) and Mike Lyman (drums, vocals). This Las Vegas ensemble formed in 1968 and was originally called The London Fogg before they issued their one and only single. The group won the 1968 Teen Scene Battle of the Rock & Soul Bands competition at the Las Vegas Ice Palace, which gave them the opportunity to record and issue their 45 ('The Times To Come' b/w 'Takin' It Easy') on the A&M label in late 1968. Both songs on the record were produced by Keith Colley and arranged by Al Capps. The excellent A-side that is featured on TWOS was written by Colley and Knox Henderson. The band eventually called it quits in 1969.
