About Halocline
Halocline emerged in the heads of Olof Henrix (Pergolos) and Ken La Rock after a round of beers at their local pub in the spring of 2006. After finishing off a couple of bottles of absinthe they recorded some songs, and the snowball where in motion. In the next couple of months they recruited musicians from all over Sweden, but they just couldn't find the perfect line-up. Just when all hope was lost, they finished off the last shots of the absinthe and turned their heads to their friendly neighbour in the west, Norway. And in the summer of 2007, the drummer OK (Thunderbolt) where drafted to the band. The same year, guitarrist Robin Frejd joined the band, but then quit about 10 months later due to a lack of personal interest. In the beginning of 2010, drummer OK was replaced by Jacob Johansson. The trio is currently writing music for their first full length album, stay tuned!
