About Libraian

Libraian is a Japanese pop-rock unit consisting of former La'cryma Christi members, TAKA (vocal) and HIRO (guitar). The band was formed at the beginning of 2007, around the same time their former band La'cryma Christi was disbanded. The name "Libraian" is a combination of the members' Zodiac signs; Libra + Leo (Lion). Their music is very much alike La'cryma Christi. TAKA's passion in Eastern mysticism and philosophy can be sensed in the lyrics and music. All their lyrics are written by TAKA and music is composed by HIRO. Libraian released their first two mini-albums simultaneously on March 14, 2007. They were titled Silver and Gold, each containing three tracks, instrumental versions of those and a photobook. Since then they have released two singles, Shangrila on December 12, 2007 and Rock'n Roll Circus on January 26, 2008. Their newest album titled Bullet Queen was released on April 16, 2008.
