Levi Boon is a musician who sings as if she’s whispering to the soul. Her music brings a quiet shimmer to the everyday, turning the ordinary into something magical. Her songs feel like faded photographs in a forgotten album—small in size, rich in feeling. Levi draws inspiration from many corners. The voices of Julia Jacklin, Billie Marten and Nick Drake speak to her, while the works of Fleetwood Mac and Carole King stir a warm nostalgia. Her journey began in childhood, coming from a creative family, music was all around the house. At thirteen, she discovered the piano. Classical lessons gave her structure, but the pull toward freedom was strong. Chords and melodies of her own began to take shape, and with a guitar in her hands, the first songs emerged. In the quiet of her room, she gave shape to her feelings. A meeting with a vocal coach opened the door to a new world: the conservatory. There she studied vocals and piano and slowly found her way into the world of music. In the final year of her studies, she began work on her first EP and met the band members who would bring her sound to life. Collaborating with producer Viktor van Woudenberg gave her music the depth it had long been seeking. Suddenly, everything clicked—Levi had found her sound. In 2024 she started recording her debut album, a goal she set herself at the beginning of the year. For Days, For Hours is a melancholic yet hopeful journey through memories, feelings, and fleeting moments—those you try to hold onto even as they slip away. The album poses questions we all recognize but rarely say out loud: How do I stay present? How do I stop time from slipping through my fingers? And what happens when I try to capture that feeling in music The album was recorded live with her band in collaboration with producer Viktor van Woudenberg, and you can hear it: the sound is warm, breathing, unpolished—as if you're right there in the room. Not tightly controlled, but open to the unexpected: a glance, a tremble, the kind of detail you only catch when everyone is truly listening. Levi deliberately sought out collaboration in the process, as a counterbalance to the solitude of writing.
