Leung & Wan is the collaborative work of Benjamin Leung and Chris Wan. Benjamin Leung (aka Rodi Style) and Chris Wan (aka Status Wan) were both born and raised in Calgary, Alberta Canada and embedded themselves into the DJ culture at very young ages. Having spent their entire lives infatuated with electronica from various artists, Leung and Wan decided to put their own producing skills to the test. Both having strong backgrounds in classical music, the two had an advantage when creating captivating melodies. Benjamin Leung and Chris Wan both originally started out spinning harder styles of music. While Leung focused mainly on hardhouse/nu-nrg, Wan leaned towards hard trance. However, when it came to deciding on a style to produce, both could not deny that their love for the music was embedded in Trance. Leung & Wan focus on mixing trance that can appeal to all people and not just trance lovers. The two are careful when selecting tracks in their performances that will both capture new audiences, but maintain a hypnotic flow that defines the true essence of trance music. 2005 has been an explosive year for Leung and Wan. Teaming up with legendary Danish producer Michael Parsberg, the remix of the young producers first track “A Still Moment” is being showcased by the Tunnel Record family based in Germany. The hit track is already featured on Tunnel Goes Ibiza Vol. 4, Technics DJ Set 13, Trance Parade Vol. 2, and Time Tunnel Vol. 4. Adding to the already successful year is the release of the duo’s second track “Memories”, featuring Jessica Chung, which will be featured on the platinum selling series Tunnel Trance Force Vol. 34. With a reputation that has now reached a global scale, Leung and Wan show no signs of slowing down. Determined to make an impact on the scene, the two will continue to work vigorously at what they love in hopes that their music will reach people on a deeper level.
