When Ribkat, an eight time platinum selling artist, and KeyVous, an internationally acclaimed singer/song writer, came together to create their own unique sound, they enlisted the help of the up-and-coming producer Nice and champion DJ P-Trix. Ribkat, from Fort Minor as well as Styles of Beyond and Ribkat & Josy B, grew up admiring his older brother Bilal, a DJ for Kurtis Blow and a producer for several multi- platinum artists. Ribkat was surrounded by multiple creative influences through Bilal’s work with accomplished artists including House of Pain, Cypress Hill, and Ice-T. Inspired by his older brother’s success, Ribkat launched his own career and has become a successful songwriter, producer, rapper, and live performer. Ribkat provides Leon Rockmore with a combination of lyricism and charm that is sorely needed in today’s music industry. Keyvous, another multi-talented artist, is a great complement to Ribkat’s vocals and writing skills. As an independent artist and song-writer Keyvous has worked with the likes of Robin Thicke, Mystic, Portrait, and AZ YET as well as other successful artists from around the world. A great entertainer, Keyvous has no problem engaging listeners with his excitement and energy at live shows. Nice, the youngest of the group and also the main producer, was raised listening to the sounds of The O’Jays, James Brown, and Michael Jackson. This influence can be heard in his tracks, which mix the familiar sounds of classic R&B with modern hip-hop beats. His talent has enabled him to produce for Jim Jones, Dipset, Y.G., and most recently TYGA. Nice provides the musical background to Ribkat’s lyricism and Keyvous’s charisma. DJ P-Trix is a US DMC and Dirtstyle World Champion for turntablism and one of LA’s most sought-after DJs. He is a valuable asset to the group in the studio helping sculpt hits that appeal to the club scene, and he is no less important at live performances, where his energy and hype always leave the audience wanting more.
