About Le Sacre Du Tympan
Le Sacre du Tympan was established in April 1998, when the first recording demos were done at the National Conservatory of Music in Paris. It is here where Fred Pallem meets most of the 17 musicians who will compose his orchestra. The orchestra has performed in many festivals in France and abroad, offering various creations (André Popp directories, François de Roubaix, circus theme …) and many collaborations (M, Sébastien Tellier, Sanseverino, Feist, Hugh Coltman, Sandra Nkake …). From the beginning, the artistic process of the Sacre du Tympan is to merge “popular” music (pop, rock) and “learned” music (jazz, contemporary) while summoning images in the mind of the listener: the film look is still very present in the compositions of Fred Pallem, like his latest program “Soundtrax”. http://www.lesacre.com/
