About Le*pop
Le*Pop is a pop band from Costa Rica founded in 2005 by Mario Miranda(keyboards, drums, band lead), Jorge Noguera "Popeye" (guitars, keyboards), Andre Kelso (bass), Stella Peralta (vocals) and Luis Montalbert (keyboards). In 2007 they launched their debut album "Bendito Televisor",both their first single "Califotoman" and the album were a success in their country. In October 2007 MTV gathered 2400 artists from Latin America for the contest: "La Zona de Combate" which gives the oportunity to new talents to show their music, the winner was Le Pop getting a 50.000 US$ contract with EMI. http://lepop.org/
