About Lavender Fire
Lavender Fire is a piano-based singer/songwriter from Norfolk, Virginia. Formerly known under her first name Cecilee, she makes contemplative and moody piano-led pop music in the vein of Tori Amos, Kate Bush, and Charlotte Martin, with a bit of Christine and the Queens for good measure. Her debut single Lavender Fire was released in July 2024, followed by Roommates in January 2025, and She's My Ocean in April 2025. After performing at local open mic nights and singer/songwriter showcases in the Hampton Roads area, Lavender Fire released her first full-length album, called From Shadows to Light, in September 2025. "Lavender Fire is a minimalist musician but there is nothing minimal about the complex nature of the music she is producing. it is emotionally powerful, it is captivating. It is inspiring.
