About Laurent Colson

Laurent Colson is a French composer, arranger, and remixer, producing wave, witch house and experimental projects. His music is a combination of deep textures, atmospheres, and rhythms, using electronic sounds mixed with mystical elements. It’s under the name of "Lost Memories" that Laurent Colson began his career in the 1990s. The first album called "The Edge Of Eternity," which firmly united electro and pop, was signed by an independent Belgium record label and released in 1999. In parallel, he worked on different remixes for other artists. In 2008, the dance version of the track "Nude" from Radiohead was ranked 3rd at a remix contest entered by the band. That same year, he realized another dance remix of the track "Amazonia" for Deep Forest (Eric Mouquet). In 2009, he worked with the Norwegian singer Anneli Drecker (Bel Canto, Röyksopp) and released a remix of the track "My Emily" from her album "Frolic." The latest projects are increasingly built with a cinematic vision, like a short story. The songs are a mix of modern musical techniques, arranged with dark and mystical sounds.
