Lash Meat is a metal outfit from Savannah, GA consisting of Tanner Hamilton (of The Holy Ghost Tabernacle Choir) on drums, Bryce Edwards (of Protozone Small Talk) on bass and Grey Rettig (of Sins of Godless Men) on guitar. Their first EP, Lost County, was released in March 2025. The theme of which was described by drummer/vocalist Tanner Hamilton as "center{ing} around my experience growing up in West Virginia and has a lot of direct ties to things I’ve lived through being raised there. (...) {W}hile I have a lot of pride for growing up in the heart of Appalachia I also find it utterly disassociating to find the place I consider to be the deepest of my roots mistreated and stripped of health, resources, and the ability to thrive. I wish to see a better Appalachia one day."
