The Larry Wilson Band (Texas) features Larry Wilson, former guitarist with Jimmy LaFave. Since 2017, the Larry Wilson Band has been composed of Larry Wilson, Guitar & Vocals; Jill Bates, Vocals, Percussion and Guitar; Rick Wood, Acoustic Bass & Vocals. The latter group recorded the acoustic-based album Knockin' at the Door. From 2008-2011, the band was composed of a core of Larry Wilson, Guitar & Vocals; Kenny Lane, Bass & Vocals, and Fred Lindenau, Drums & Vocals, with other members and guests. They recorded the album Live! as Larry Wilson & His Blue City Knights in 2008, and From the Ashes in 2011.
