Since the communist period, he was one of the pioneers of the new Georgian musical thinking and movement in the 80s. He is the only musician at the Georgian contemporary musical stage with academic education: 1982 – Zakaria Paliashvili State Special Musical School, Contrabass Class 1987 – Vano Sarajishvili State Conservatory: Contrabass Class 1982-1986 – Worked at the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet State Theater as a contrabass player, under the leadership of Jansug Kakhidze. for more info: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Lado-Burduli/147341530917?v=info During the hardest period for his state, he did not leave his native country and since then he has been fighting without sparing himself for establishing a tolerant, democratic and free society. He has created a new Georgian epoch and builds a new Georgian contemporary musical stage. His name is linked to the creation of one of the progressive channels “The 2nd Channel” in the country in 1990, and also to his revolutionary program “Okros Bibilo” (Golden Crest). He has been a founder and an organizer of Caucasus Rock Festivals since 1995 to date, which is the only independent, non-commercial, non-conformant, non-political, small-budget, stable and live organism in the Caucasus towards building a new Caucasus infrastructure. During the civil wars in the country he founded the first Art Factory in 1992-1995 and in the era of blackouts, fear and hunger turned his house into a stable stage for saving the Georgian contemporary art (music, fashion, video art, performance, exhibitions), which has been the only “lantern of civilization” in the whole country for years.
