Wha upper cupper, this is LaFran real name LaFrancesca Mitchell. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and grew up in a family full of musicians, so as I likes to say its in me bones. I graduated from the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts and I've worked with people like Rodney Jerkins, QD3 before i was17 years old. I was also a star basketball player but wanted to be apart of the entertainment world. In 2001, I got a deal over in London and signed to the international superstar Simon Webbe under the American/ British girl group L.A.D.E. The group was on the top charting song Bubblin with Blue and the song currently has3 million hits on youtube. Ive also works with True Music and has had over 32 of my song in my America catalog placed on various tv shows like The L Word, Lipstick Jungle, Burn Notice Soundtrack, One on One, The Game, Girlfriends and believe me when i say the list goes on. What a lot of people don't know about her is that one of the top songwriter in the world is her cousin NEYO. When asked why she hasn't worked with NEYO she states that they grew up writing and performing together and the day will come in the future when that will happen again, but she riding dolo (solo). For now she wants to figure this business out for herself and build on her own company. LaFran sound and performance is really like no other. Its more a musicial rather than song after song. Her influences are from range of classical composers to icon artist like Davie Bowie and Lil Wayne. She currently goes by LaFran aka G.Q. The Galaxxy Quuen and has 2 albums out on the website www.truemusiconline.com. Self-titled LaFran and Genise. And is currently working on her next album. LaFran is most definitely a non traditional artist and is inspired by her everyday movement which she calls a GQ Visions. Honestly her music is a breathe of fresh air when compared to the artists of today. She's an over the top rockstar with a universal sound which make her The GALAXXY QUUEN.
