1999 In Pontevico (Brescia / Italy), during the summer La Mamoynia born. The first line up (Agosti, Zedda, Scalvenzi e Milanesi), starts to compose the first psycho-industrial tracks, , using only 3 bass guitars and a drums. The improvisation and the sperimentation are total and radical. 2000 During a punk concert of L'Ucertolagialla (where Agosti played guitar) La Mamoynia meet Dimitris Triantafyllou and some days later he enter in the band, after his experience in a punk band in Greece. The sound of the band change in a sound more agressiv and minimal, electronic and more melodic. During a concert in July they record on two tracks an EP, self produced with 4 songs: Dio di latta, Ola Gri (first version), To licnisma and Mr.Clarinet a cover of The Birthday Party. From Autumn the band add new sounds, like computer samplers and urban percussions (plastic, wood and iron). They lost their psychedelic-mood and the improvisation to explore more minimal lands. Here born the songs of the first ep of La Mamoynia . Bass guitars become 2, and Milanesi start to play electric guitar. 2001 29 luglio: the EP "Ola Gri" is out, for the Die Kraft durch Die Form Records, conteining 4 tracks: Walk in the silence, Searching my dreams, Ola Gri e H Anoixi Aimoragei, total during approximating 20 minutes. In August "Ola gri" is distribuited in Berlin/D by Das Drehmoment Recordstore. 2002 In June La Mamoynia play for the first time out of Italy, atContrast in Konstanz (Deutschland), a concert organized by Fiebertanz, with which becomes a strong collaboration. The songs of "Ola gri" are played by several djs in Italiy and outside(Konstanz/D, Stuttgart/D, Berlin/D, Poland, San Francisco/USa). La Mamoynia starts in november to remixare and riediting the EP "Ola Gri"; some songs are remixed by Dj Thanasis from Athens/GR. The starts to record also the new songs for the following album. 2003 They go on with the recording sessions of the new album, and in April they play in Basel (CH); there is the possibility for La Mamoynia to play in Zürich (CH) as support of Aviador Dro (a storic electro band from Spain) but the month before some problems at the club delete the apparition. 2004 The 24th of January, comes out "La Mamoynia", first LP of the band. 10 songs for 40 minutes. Recorded again for the Die Kraft durch die Form Records. Introduced with a concert in Luzern (CH) with Bakterielle Infektion from Berlin, event organized by Jonas Hofmann of Fiebertanz.de. At the end of the year Emiliano Milanesi leaves La Mamoynia because of stylistic different point of view. 2005 On 1st October, comes out "Mono Ego", second LP of the band. 11 songs for 50 minutes. Again for Die Kraft durch die Form Records. It is presented in Mannheim (D), in a concert at Juz, the 22/10/05.
