About Kurt Oldman
Kurt Oldman is a composer with a broad range of experience writing music for film, television and new media. Nominated for BEST SCORE for his work on "Stained" Kurt has also received critical acclaim for his work on many of his films including "Babysitter Wanted" (one very haunting piece of musical scoring - Michael Ross Allen); "Neighbor" (an amazing score that is gloriously old-school - Michael Gingold) and "All Along" (a brilliantly jazz-effused score - S. James Wegg). Kurt has worked on a wide range of projects, from feature films and games to branded ringtones, corporate industrials, commercials and episodic television. His career began in Switzerland scoring the feature film "Endless Escape". His first film in the US, "Learning To Swim" went on to win Showtime’s coveted BEST LATINO FILM and his second film, "Imagination" won BEST FILM at the Tiburon International Film Festival. Since then Kurt has scored over 30 films many of which have garnered Best Film awards. Over his extensive career, Kurt has worked with many major corporations such as Konami/Cartoon Network, Virgin Mobile, The City of San Antonio Texas, 3M, Monster.com and UMG/Killer Tracks. His films have played on Showtime, Lifetime and HBO and his music has been placed in countless television shows for TLC, TruTV, Discovery, NBC and many more.
