About Kostoglotov

Kostoglotov was the solo project of Daryl Worthington from London, United Kingdom. In 2009, this lo-fi approach was born out of fiscal necessity, as much as aesthetic intention. The sound is shaped by an equal appreciation of drone, ambient, improvised and homemade music. More recently, Worthington has released a split tapes and toured with the acts Circuit Breaker and Lost Harbours. Kostoglotov has shared stages with bands and artists such as Petrels, Lee Chapman, John Chantler, Nordloef, and Joanne Robertson. His tracks have been played on Minutemen legend Mike Watt's podcast, and been described by God Is in the TV zine as, "reminiscent of an electro soundtrack to an old cartoon called the Ugly Bug Ball." In 2014, Worthington changed his stage name to Beachers. http://kostoglotov.blogspot.com
