About Koogu
With the sudden end of Calistoga band , the brothers Gustavo Rocha and Henry Refrigerator kept the desire to continue playing together and experience music in a more freeform . After a few months of research and possibilities found the musician Daniel Heron soon joined the new project. After a few rehearsals the band met sonically and compositions took shape . The whole basis of the songs comes from loops recorded live thus bringing a new experience for those who attend the presentations of the band. In June 2015 the Koogu released their first EP " waiting for shuva " which will be released by the label Catamaran discs the band has also made presentations on Instrumental Christmas Festival Under Festival the Sun and chaosmosis among other presentations by the city , now with the launch their first EP the band hopes to travel to other states.
