Koarse is Sjef van der Heijden, an engineer, producer and sound artist from the Netherlands. He studies and work at the HKU in the sounddesign department and is active in the field as a maker of installation art and as a music producer and DJ. His music often falls within the hardcore, drum & bass, and experimental electronic music genres. They also have a side project for more bouncy club music called Cut Sphere.
