About Knives Chau Fan Club
Knives Chau Fan Club (now known as kniveschau) are a screamo band from Dundee, Scotland consisting of Andrew Hart on guitar/vocals, Matthew Aston on bass and Matthew Tonner on drums. They released their debut EP Things Haven't Been The Same in January 2020, with playing their first show at Conroy's Basement, Dundee one month later. Guitarist Graeme Dingwall presumably left the band sometime around 2021. After a brief hiatus, they released catknives chauslash, a split EP with Glasgow band catslash in 2022. On September 30th 2023, the band announced iwishihadyourstrength, releasing No T-Shirt Glitch as a single the next day. The EP was released on October 13th. inspiteofthecircumstances was released on August 9th, 2024, with a launch show in Glasgow's Audio Lounge the next day. The band described the EP as "the most collaborative we’ve ever written." The band dropped a three-track promo EP in October 2025, changing their name to kniveschau.
