Few days after they recruited Omar (guitars) and began songwriting their first pieces. As the project progressed they felt the need to add one more member to the band, materialized in David (vocals and guitars). At mid-september they already had a repertory of songs, of which were selected 5 songs to record their first EP, produced by Diego Ruelas. The recording and mixing process began in late october, ending in early december, which this month has marked the band’s official debut. The band’s songs have cold lyrics talking about everyday life, with music that could be described like “dirty and elegant”. Knives Tea continues to prove that music pulverizes barriers between generations, in the sense that the members of the band were born in 3 different decades, different times, but still their influences merge quite naturally.
